West South-Central Technical College

WSCTC is located in an area that has long been recognized for its beauty, unique character and recreational resources. The natural environment of Minnesota blends easily with the educational environment of the College to create the setting for a unique living and learning experience.

The College's 130-acre campus is situated in the town of New Hartford. Minnesota's third largest city, Rochester, lies 20 minutes to the southeast; Wisconsin is sixteen miles to the east. Minneapolis, Des Moines, Madison, Mankato and Duluth are all within easy driving distance on major highways and are accessible by both air and bus service.

WSCTC came under direct public control in 1912, when the property was purchased by the State of Minnesota. Since that time, the College has grown into a comprehensive institution of higher education offering a wide-range of programs in the electric science, construction, plumbing, and career and professional fields, leading to degrees of Certificate of Advanced Study, Associate in Science, and Associate in Arts in General Studies. WSCTC is accredited by the South Central Association of School and Colleges.
